Base Salary
$125k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and scale infrastructure for reliable machine learning model deployment, including orchestration, version control, and monitoring.
- Design and implement automation pipelines for model training, testing, validation, and deployment.
- Deploy ML models to production and establish monitoring and alerting for model performance, health, and data drift.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize model efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, DevOps teams, IT teams, and managed service providers to integrate ML solutions into existing systems and workflows.
- Apply security protocols, compliance standards, data-privacy practices, and model-governance best practices throughout the ML lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical innovations, coding standards, software-development best practices, and team mentoring.
- Perform other assigned duties and comply with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Typically 8+ years of experience in a similar MLOps or DevOps role within a technical engineering environment.
- Typically 8+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python or Java and relevant ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version-control systems, and automation tools.
- Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC processes in EDW, data lake, BI, and MLOps projects.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehouses, ODS concepts, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalized data models.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with on-site and offshore resources through managed service providers and IT teams.
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau is desired.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, model development, and deployment strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
