Responsibilities
- Design, code, build, configure, and enhance custom software applications and components.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Maintain and improve existing applications by identifying enhancements and implementing changes.
- Optimize data workflows, manage large datasets, and troubleshoot application performance issues.
- Document technical specifications and application configurations for maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in team discussions, provide solutions to work-related problems, and work independently toward subject-matter expertise.
- Guide and support junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks and experience with cloud-based data processing and analytics platforms are required.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and the software development lifecycle is required.
- Ability to optimize data workflows and manage large datasets efficiently is required.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation in cloud environments and competence in troubleshooting application performance issues are required.
- Python and PySpark are good-to-have skills.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
