Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and improve software performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Optimize data pipelines and use scripting and automation to streamline workflows.
- Participate actively in team discussions and independently solve work-related problems.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Develop subject-matter expertise in the relevant data engineering platform and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts and architectures.
- Ability to optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of data security and governance principles within data platforms.
