Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own renter onboarding and overall experience from requirements through development, QA, production deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain application and service features, codebases, data models, and technical documentation.
- Partner with product, design, operations, analysts, and engineers to align development priorities.
- Communicate updates, risks, blockers, and recommendations clearly and proactively.
- Use data, judgment, and business context to make decisions and improve stakeholder and user experience.
- Manage assigned engineering work independently and deliver commitments, deadlines, and production-quality outcomes.
- Ensure work complies with applicable policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant production experience in backend web development, preferably using Go and/or TypeScript.
- 5+ years of relevant production experience in frontend web development, preferably using React.
- Experience working with large, interdependent codebases while maintaining business continuity.
- Strong understanding of REST API concepts and designs, plus system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience creating and evaluating technical design documents.
- Ability to manage engineering tasks, collaborate with product and design, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Material UI, GraphQL, or modern web infrastructure components is preferred.

- Annual U.S. base salary range of $170,000–$220,000, excluding other compensation and benefits.
