Principal Engineer Commercial & Services
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Own the technical architecture, standards, engineering roadmap, and governance for Commercial and Services systems.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Commerce, Conga CPQ, and Salesforce Field Service solutions.
- Architect integrations and data flows across commercial and services systems using Boomi middleware.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, robust technical solutions with operational technology and business teams.
- Provide technical leadership for Commercial and Services transformation programs, including cybersecurity and industrial IoT practices.
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and technical governance across the technology portfolio.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including AI/ML, Agentforce, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Operationalize continuous improvement processes to maximize business value and services performance.
- Drive technical decisions and innovation across a global, matrixed organization.
Requirements
- Extensive engineering experience with CRM, B2B Commerce, and field service platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Deep technical expertise in commercial and services processes from ITO to OTR, including direct Salesforce experience.
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale integration architectures for global organizations.
- Hands-on experience implementing generative AI solutions at scale.
- Ability to drive technical decisions in a global, matrixed organization.
- Strong technical communication skills for explaining complex engineering concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-resolution, collaboration, and technical implementation skills.
- Experience applying continuous improvement principles to technology delivery and services operations is desired.
- Working knowledge of Leankor with Salesforce is a plus.
