Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and implement Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions using out-of-the-box or custom approaches.
- Design, develop, unit test, document, and deploy Guidewire integration changes.
- Participate in business workshops, customer discussions, CAB meetings, defect triage, and technical demonstrations.
- Lead the Guidewire development POD, review deliverables, estimate work, and support multiple teams technically.
- Establish development best practices, mentor developers, and coordinate with QA, testers, business analysts, architects, and technical leads.
- Create knowledge-base and handoff documentation for production support.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with Guidewire, Core Java, REST API technologies, and AWS technologies.
- At least 3 years of Guidewire experience and good property and casualty insurance experience.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter, Java, Node.js, GraphQL, web services, AWS, GUnit, and JUnit.
- Experience increasing code coverage and practicing Business Driven Development.
- Minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree is listed in the qualifications.
- Guidewire Cloud certification is optional.
