Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy data products across varied technologies and platforms.
- Maintain and enhance existing products through bug fixes and business-as-usual feature improvements.
- Own the software product lifecycle, including design, release, and production support.
- Develop new services and modernise existing technical infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, security, scalability, and resilience of systems and data.
- Use data and API analysis to diagnose issues and uncover insights.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and Amazon EC2.
- Strong database development experience, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
- Experience with database design, data pipelines, analytics platforms, performance tuning, and secure coding.
- Experience building ETL systems using Airflow or SSIS.
- Experience building solutions with Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless environments.
- Understanding of APIs, authentication schemes, BigQuery, and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience with build pipelines, Docker, and modern continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, reliable, and resilient solutions and maintain current knowledge of data technologies.
