Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee security incident response operations.
- Build and deploy threat detection and incident response capabilities with Amazon teams, partners, and customers.
- Design, build, and deploy AWS solutions that automate security operations and incident response.
- Develop internal builder projects, consulting engagement capabilities, automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers.
- Collaborate with AWS service teams to develop new features and innovative security solutions.
- Mentor consultants, partners, and customers and contribute to customer security outcomes.
- Participate in on-call support.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in a common programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or at least 2 years of IT security experience.
- Experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks with command-line tools.
- Experience working on a computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT).
- Fluency building AI tools.
- Preferred experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- Preferred knowledge of HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Preferred experience with AWS products and services and security activities across software development lifecycle phases.
