Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support Wise’s cloud platform.
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Develop tooling and automate infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, or continuous integration/deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective outcomes.
- Optimize cloud services for availability, security, usability, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures, preferably on AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automating infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, or continuous integration/deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Golang and/or Python.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate concepts to users and stakeholders and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
- Understanding of the Kubernetes operator pattern is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with cloud networking is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with one or more observability platforms is a nice-to-have.
- Knowledge of financial services or other regulated industries is a nice-to-have.
