Responsibilities
- Launch cloud networking infrastructure supporting AI-motivated workloads.
- Design, develop, and scale cloud networking products and infrastructure for the hybrid cloud roadmap.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of networking products and infrastructure.
- Advocate for and drive engineering and operational excellence.
- Create designs for complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ambitious goals.
- Build Cloud Interconnect capabilities spanning physical networks, routers, and cloud virtualization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more of C, Go, Python, C++, or Java.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills for working with local clients and regional partners.
- Preferred: a master’s degree in a related technical field.
- Preferred: networking experience across configuration, control, or data planes, including network engineering, SDN, or network control planes and protocols such as BGP, TCP/IP, or MPLS.
- Preferred: experience developing large-scale distributed systems and solving ambiguous problems with significant impact.
