Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure as code.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Implement cloud security measures to protect data and applications.
- Optimize AWS services for performance and cost efficiency.
- Monitor security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits.
- Collaborate with development, IT, and operations teams to implement scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, cloud engineering, or a closely related role.
- Strong AWS experience, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, and VPC.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash and familiarity with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with security frameworks, compliance standards, network security, identity and access management, and encryption technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or CISSP certification, plus experience with Chef or Puppet.
