Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology, vision, roadmap features, and functionality to technical and executive audiences.
- Work hands-on with prospects and customers through demos, proofs of concept, solution design, and implementation.
- Create technical champions within customer accounts to support deals and achieve technical wins.
- Understand competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Develop joint architectures and account strategies with partners.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment, or relevant experience in analytics, data science, data engineering, or a related industry.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Python.
- Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Preferred: experience with data science and machine learning technology.
