Responsibilities
- Define the technical direction and roadmap for Pinterest's agent platform.
- Design and build scalable, highly available infrastructure for agent services.
- Partner with internal teams to shape the future vision of the agent platform.
- Lead technical alignment across teams and drive execution on key initiatives.
- Use AI to accelerate system design and validate outputs.
- Synthesize emerging research in agent technology for platform improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building agent systems with knowledge of core components.
- 7+ years of experience in building scalable backend systems.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and deployment technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in setting roadmaps and driving execution.
- Ability to use AI for development and decision-making with sound judgment.
- Strong track record of evaluating AI-assisted work for quality assurance.
- High integrity and ownership in protecting sensitive data and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
