Base Salary
$166k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core systems and APIs for Databricks Model Serving.
- Drive architectural decisions to optimize performance and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to key components of the serving infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and research teams to align systems with customer needs.
- Lead technical initiatives to improve latency and availability.
- Establish best practices for code quality and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience in model serving or related infrastructure.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Proven ability to deliver complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Experience with performance-sensitive CPU/GPU inference systems.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
