$180k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a secure, scalable Agentic AI platform with patterns for multi-agent orchestration, state management, tool usage, and memory.
- Drive agent-driven product features from ideation through production deployment, including automated requirement parsing, software-module mapping, and test-case generation.
- Build guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and reasoning validation loops for safe, deterministic, accurate agent behavior in medical contexts.
- Enable agents to interact with medical data structures, EHRs, imaging pipelines, and internal APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, clinical experts, and data scientists to translate clinical needs into AI agent architectures.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote software engineering practices including testing and logging for non-deterministic systems.
Requirements
- Senior candidates need 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, while Staff candidates need 8+ years.
- Hands-on experience building applications with Large Language Models and a strong understanding of agentic architectures is required.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks and vector databases is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or Go and familiarity with microservices, API design, and AWS or GCP infrastructure are required.
- Experience shipping production-grade software and designing systems from scratch is required.
- Experience with AI applications in regulated industries, HIPAA/GDPR compliance, open-source LLM or agentic frameworks, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RAG optimization is preferred.
