- Analyze, design, program, modify, test, debug, document, install, and maintain software enhancements and new products.
- Build and maintain modern web applications for internal and external customers.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices integrating internal and external client systems.
- Define, develop, and estimate user stories and epics with a product owner within an agile team.
- Create and implement automated BDD tests with business analysts and QA.
- Close software defects and maintain architectural diagrams.
- Support the scalability, security, maintainability, and architectural alignment of products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, a master's degree, or three years of equivalent work-related experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, Java, JUnit, JPA, Spring, Python, GoLang, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, KeyCloak, serverless computing, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with web and RESTful services, microservice development, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience with JavaScript technologies including jQuery, ExtJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and Jasmine or another JavaScript unit-testing framework.
- Experience working in an agile environment using Scrum.
- Kafka and NoSQL experience is preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, work proactively, and meet deadlines.
