Responsibilities
- Develop AI applications and transition prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows, including multi-agent systems and Model Context Protocol servers.
- Architect and code integrations between Google AI products and customer APIs, legacy data silos, live infrastructure, and security perimeters.
- Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic system accuracy, safety, and latency.
- Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points, converting them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
- Co-build with customer engineering teams and promote development best practices, project success, and end-user adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python and a related machine learning package such as Keras, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience building applied AI systems around pre-trained models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or tool orchestration.
- Experience architecting, deploying, or managing solutions on a cloud platform such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Fluency in Japanese and English for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in AI, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience implementing multi-agent systems with LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google's ADK, including ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation patterns.
- Preferred: knowledge of LLM-native metrics, state-management optimization, and granular tracing.
