Responsibilities
- Design and build key parts of Baton AI’s full-stack web application, API infrastructure, and AI-driven automation platform.
- Work on AI agents, prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, APIs, and browser automation.
- Collaborate with early customers and the founding team to define the technical roadmap.
- Prototype, experiment, and ship product features quickly in a high-trust environment.
Requirements
- At least three years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript, plus proficiency with React/Next.js and Node.js.
- Understanding of Python and Elixir or functional programming is a plus.
- Experience building rich-text editors or willingness to take on that challenge.
- Experience or strong interest in building AI/LLM-powered applications and workflow automation tools.
- Product-minded approach with attention to clean code and user experience.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems, take ownership, and deliver quickly.
- Willingness to work in person in San Francisco.
