Responsibilities

Perform application systems analysis and programming tasks of the highest complexity.
Design new systems and major modifications according to established design guidelines, time constraints, cost controls, and flexibility requirements.
Provide technical and programming leadership, consulting, training, and mentoring to programming staff and Systems Managers.
Lead technical and programming projects by coordinating activities across programming and operating departments.
Evaluate project feasibility and new software packages for cost, resource requirements, and systems compatibility.
Participate in requirements gathering, feasibility sessions, refinement sessions, and technical decision-making.
Improve business and technical processes, expand system or infrastructure capabilities, and drive changes that positively impact the business.
Maintain current platform documentation and provide excellent customer service.
Work with minimal supervision, make decisions within an established range, and escalate issues to the Manager when necessary.

Bachelor's degree or commensurate selection-criteria experience is required.
Extensive programming experience, including experience outside the organization or in Software Developer roles, is required.
Proficiency in the specific programming language required by the individual business unit is required.
Demonstrated technical and programming leadership, systems analysis, project leadership, mentoring, training, adaptability, analytical decision-making, and process-improvement abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, customer service, organization, and ability to work under multiple deadlines with minimal supervision are required.
Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications is required.
Ability to perform continuous computer work, prepare written correspondence and reports, interpret documents, and communicate accurately with customers and associates is required.

Office-based work setting with no travel required.
Extended hours may be required during peak workloads or special projects/events.
