Responsibilities

Research, design, define, develop, test, document, and implement new applications and changes to existing applications.
Install software packages and personal computer software.
Analyze processing problems and collaborate with IT and business associates to develop solutions.
Consult with and advise business associates about existing or proposed systems.
Participate in committee meetings and developmental or large-scale improvement projects.
Document procedures and activities according to prescribed formats and organizational standards.

Bachelor's degree or commensurate selection-criteria experience.
Above-average aptitude for computer programming, logical problem-solving, and basic mathematics.
Strong analytical skills, including problem definition, data interpretation, fact-finding, and solution development.
Programming skills gained through college coursework or self-learning, including examples of research, design, requirements gathering, development, testing, documentation, or production support.
Demonstrated teamwork, verbal and written communication, organization, decision-making, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complete projects with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in programming languages required by the individual business unit.
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Office-based work setting with extended periods at a desk or computer.
No travel required.
Extended hours may be required during peak workloads or special projects and events.
