Base Salary
$130k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support Employee and Customer PingFederate SSO implementations and troubleshoot authentication failures.
- Analyze logs and debug authentication handshakes, token issuance, token expiry, and Identity Provider endpoint communication.
- Apply configuration fixes and coordinate troubleshooting sessions with vendors and third parties.
- Support PingFederate Enterprise Platform upgrades and resolve technical errors found during testing.
- Coordinate QE testing to validate fixes and upgrades.
- Provide production support and rapid response for urgent authentication incidents.
- Gather technical specifications, submit Intakes, and track them through resolution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience using Java and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with PingFederate or similar Single Sign-On and Identity Provider platforms.
- Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect authentication protocols.
- Experience with log analysis, authentication-handshake troubleshooting, token inspection and validation, and API or endpoint debugging.
- Experience gathering technical specifications and submitting and following up on Intakes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with vendors and third-party teams.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum, cross-functional teams, and QE teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes PingFederate Enterprise Platform upgrades, vendor troubleshooting coordination, enterprise IAM tools, and banking or financial services.
