Software Engineer (Libraries Platform)

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of core components of the Libraries Platform.
- Design and maintain automation for artifact creation, updates, and verification.
- Develop automation for generating security fixes, including AI-assisted patching.
- Build and operate shared platform services such as package indexes and registry mirrors.
- Develop internal developer tools and CLIs to improve library building and shipping.
- Drive reliability, scalability, and observability for the Libraries platform.
- Solve complex dependency and build issues in production environments.
- Partner closely with ecosystem teams to ensure platform meets requirements.
- Mentor and unblock other engineers through design reviews and hands-on debugging.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems.
- Strong proficiency in Go or readiness to ramp quickly.
- Proven track record in building developer tooling and automation.
- Strong background in CI/CD, cloud-native infrastructure, and IaC.
- Ability to debug and resolve complex toolchain and infrastructure failures.
- Comfortable with SRE, platform, and DevOps responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in a remote environment.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to set technical direction.
