Responsibilities
- Build a platform used by data scientists and simulation engineers to build, train, and deploy deep physics models.
- Work on a focused, stream-aligned, cross-functional team with backend, frontend, and design contributors.
- Own work from implementation through production, including quality, scalability, and observability.
- Gather and apply domain knowledge from data scientists and simulation engineers using the product.
- Contribute to software engineering practices through guild participation and collaboration.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both Python and Go.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience owning software from implementation to production, including testing, containerisation, continuous integration and delivery, authentication and authorisation, and telemetry, observability, or monitoring.
- Working understanding of messaging in event-driven systems, with experience using tools such as NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Some professional or otherwise applicable experience developing applications for Kubernetes.
- CKAD certification is a preferred qualification but is not required.
