Base Salary

$157k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end from design and implementation through rollout and iteration.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and the Experience front-end team.
  • Navigate ambiguous problems and establish clear paths forward.
  • Contribute to roadmap prioritization, tradeoff decisions, and iterative delivery.
  • Extend Chainguard’s agentic AI foundation into customer-facing product experiences.
  • Provide technical input on architecture and collaborate on technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Expertise with containers, artifact registries, Docker, Kubernetes, and its broader ecosystem.
  • Experience building and securing CI/CD systems.
  • Proficiency with Go (Golang) or strong readiness to ramp up quickly.
  • Experience with AI tooling and enthusiasm for applying it to complex problems.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Product and customers to launch features.
  • Strong communication skills, English proficiency, autonomy, initiative, and willingness to seek help proactively.
