
DevOps Engineer I (New Grad)

Responsibilities
- Learn and contribute to software deployment and operations for cloud-based systems.
- Assist with reliable, version-controlled deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Deploy and scale applications on Kubernetes container platforms.
- Support the design and management of Azure cloud solutions while applying security best practices.
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot deployment or performance issues.
- Build and refine Docker images for development and testing environments.
- Collaborate with security teams and experiment with tools and techniques to improve workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud environments, or systems administration.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Introductory experience or coursework in CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Bash or Python scripting.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred: hands-on experience or certifications with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred: familiarity with Terraform and demonstrated technology learning through projects or internships.
