Base Salary
$207k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers to align goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Develop mid-term technical roadmaps and manage project priorities for future infrastructure needs.
- Design, test, and deploy large-scale software solutions while solving ambiguous problems.
- Review code and implementation practices for style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Guide system design decisions, assess trade-offs, ensure scalability, define success metrics, automate processes, and triage system issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field plus 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, or a relevant master’s degree plus 6 years of experience.
- At least 6 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go to design, write, test, and maintain software applications.
- At least 6 years of experience with algorithms and data structures, systems architecture, debugging and root cause analysis, and risk management.
