Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance ATM and financial self-service terminal software with direct hardware interaction.
- Architect and maintain secure APIs for ATM fleet management, status reporting, and integration with banking and enterprise systems.
- Implement cryptographic protocols, tokenization, secure boot, intrusion detection, and other security controls.
- Build backend services and responsive administrative dashboards for fleet monitoring and system configuration.
- Design relational databases and use NoSQL systems for logging, auditing, and telemetry analysis.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications and backend infrastructure using cloud platforms and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure systems comply with financial regulations, EMV, ADA, PCI DSS, and internal policies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex software, network, and production issues in distributed high-availability environments.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, cybersecurity specialists, compliance officers, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on embedded systems, financial transaction systems, or ATM software.
- Experience developing low-level applications that interact with hardware peripherals such as card readers, cash dispensers, and encrypting PIN pads.
- Experience building enterprise backend services and modern responsive web-based administrative dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with financial transaction messaging standards and secure payment processing workflows.
- Experience hardening Windows Embedded or Linux operating systems and applying secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation practices.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments with container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with C++, Java, Python, Node.js, Go, Angular, React, Vue.js, relational and NoSQL databases, networking protocols, financial protocols, cryptography, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, communication, collaboration, security, quality, compliance, and problem-solving skills.
