Responsibilities
- Design, code, and implement custom Salesforce applications for organizational and institution-specific needs.
- Develop with Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, triggers, interfaces, workflows, and API security.
- Support functional specification activities across higher-education business domains.
- Design data models, write complex queries, and maintain data integrity.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Configure Salesforce settings, user roles, permissions, workflows, and validation rules.
- Manage development environments and the deployment process through production.
- Debug code, troubleshoot issues, provide first-line support, and support integration and production deployment phases.
- Collaborate with clients, project partners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Salesforce integration and deployment projects.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and security.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Salesforce Developer certification is preferred.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Experience Cloud certification is preferred.
- Versatility in object-oriented development languages is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Fluent English and Hungarian; French is a plus.
- Familiarity with higher-education systems and processes is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide service-oriented client support.
