Base Salary
$44k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement generative AI applications using GPT-4, Claude, Llama, and other large language models.
- Build, train, fine-tune, and optimize neural networks and transformer-based models for natural language processing and machine perception.
- Improve model performance, scalability, and reliability for deployment.
- Collaborate with Cisco product teams and participate in learning sessions and cross-functional networking.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program with 2 years of work experience, or a master’s degree program with 0 years of work experience.
- Pursuing a qualifying field such as computer science, electrical engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Expected to remain enrolled in the degree program after completing the internship.
- Experience with model building, AI/LLM development, and Python, SQL, or Go through academic, project, or professional work.
- Experience training or fine-tuning neural network models with attention to performance or scalability.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native solutions, Docker container orchestration, rapid deployment platforms, data pipelines, AI security or validation, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, and natural language processing.
