Base Salary

$120k - $140k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, test, optimize, and maintain high-quality Pega applications and components.
  • Implement Pega class structures, workflow and process flows, UI models, integrations, reporting capabilities, and reusable assets.
  • Develop healthcare solutions using the Pega Smart Claims Engine and Facets Claims, Membership, Billing, and Provider modules.
  • Support healthcare claims processing and EDI 835 and EDI 837 transactions across the end-to-end claims lifecycle.
  • Perform automated, unit, system integration, user acceptance, and regression testing, including defect analysis and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in Agile/SAFe sprint ceremonies, code reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and collaboration with distributed and onshore teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Pega Platform (PRPC) development experience, including application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong experience with Pega Automated Testing, the Pega Unit Testing Framework (PUTF), test automation, and software quality assurance practices.
  • Expertise with Facets modules including Claims, Membership, Billing, and Provider, plus understanding of healthcare payer operations.
  • Experience with healthcare claims processing and EDI transactions, including EDI 835 and EDI 837.
  • Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing, including defect analysis and resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega Reporting, Pega Mobility/Mobile Solutions, integrations, troubleshooting, and automated testing methodologies.
  • Healthcare domain experience is required; healthcare claims processing experience and Facets implementation experience are highly preferred.
  • Pega CSA, CSSA, or CBA certifications are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
