Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate resilient, self-healing infrastructure across the AWS platform.
- Own incident response from detection and mitigation through root-cause investigation and postmortems.
- Design and run disaster-recovery and failover exercises with defined RTO and RPO targets.
- Build observability using SLIs, SLOs, and trusted alerting.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps.
- Operate Kubernetes hands-on below the abstraction layer.
- Share production ownership and on-call responsibilities with the platform lead.
- Shape infrastructure security and compliance for HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2 requirements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or cloud infrastructure.
- Deep, current expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience running disaster-recovery or failover exercises.
- A track record of independently driving incident response and postmortems.
- Strong grounding in CI/CD automation, GitOps, and infrastructure as code.
- Healthcare IT, EHR data, or HIPAA/SOC 2-governed environment experience is a bonus.
- Experience with high-traffic, mission-critical SaaS or IoT platforms is a bonus.
