Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable web and API automation frameworks.
- Develop and review automation scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Lead API automation initiatives using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI.
- Define and drive automation strategy, planning, estimation, execution, and delivery across projects and releases.
- Review automation code and enforce coding standards, best practices, and framework guidelines.
- Mentor and guide junior automation engineers through technical reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and client stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automation with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support continuous integration.
- Analyze execution results, lead defect triage, and perform root cause analysis.
- Provide automation status, quality metrics, and risk updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements in automation frameworks, processes, and engineering practices.
- Support browser compatibility testing using Sauce Labs and Perfecto.
- Participate in sprint planning, release planning, technical discussions, and quality reviews.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience as an SQA Automation Engineer focused on UI and API automation.
- At least 5 years of experience with automated testing practices and generating test automation scripts.
- Experience with tools and frameworks including Selenium, Karate, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, QTest, DevTest, Bobcat, Mocha, Sauce Labs, Perfecto, Azure Data Studio, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Jira.
- At least 1 year of experience debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile applications using Chrome developer tools, Charles, and other debugging tools.
- At least 5 years of experience working on projects involving solution development life cycles such as SDLC.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder and client management, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, ownership, decision-making, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Preferred knowledge of Python/PyTest, AI/LLM testing, and IoT devices and networking.
