Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs for the Quick Commerce fulfillment stack.
- Develop systems that enforce operational controls across Amazon and external third-party fulfillment environments.
- Collaborate with Senior SDEs, Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and help raise the team’s engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field.
