JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and established engineering practices.
- Lead and participate in migration efforts to MVVM and Hilt.
- Modularize and abstract the application to support white-labeling solutions.
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable application architectures.
- Collaborate with iOS engineers, backend engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate features including Google Pay, Google Assistant, and Android Widgets.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and crash-free user experience.
- Stay current with Android trends, share insights, and proactively solve problems.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
- Experience with RxJava or Coroutines and Dagger or Hilt.
- Familiarity with Java and Android design patterns including MVP and MVVM.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests.
- Understanding of mobile design best practices and human interface guidelines.
- Experience working in agile environments using Scrum.
- Experience with Git or similar distributed source-control systems.
- Knowledge of REST and messaging platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A portfolio on GitHub, Stack Overflow, or published apps is preferred.
- Fintech or financial-services experience is preferred.
- Experience with navigation libraries, multi-module applications, flavoring, white-labeling, NodeJS, and design systems is preferred.
