Responsibilities
- Build new functionality in the Remote Compose codebase as part of the Core Remote Compose team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across wearables, home screen app widgets, and other form factors to enable Remote Compose on new surfaces.
- Work with the team and community to design and iterate on APIs.
- Prioritize the best user experience for the developer community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of Android application development experience.
- Experience with Kotlin.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, experience with data structures and algorithms, API design and development, Android libraries, declarative programming, Jetpack Compose, and familiarity with Android as a platform.
