Base Salary
$210k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design monitoring, alerting, dashboard, metrics, and logging solutions for system observability.
- Develop infrastructure automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and create self-healing systems for common failure scenarios.
- Define and implement SLOs and SLIs with product and engineering teams.
- Lead incident response, conduct post-mortems, maintain runbooks, and reduce Mean Time To Recovery.
- Identify infrastructure performance bottlenecks, plan capacity, optimize resource utilization, reduce latency, and improve system efficiency across global regions.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar automation languages.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions.
- Strong incident management skills and experience leading incident response.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Preferred experience with Google Cloud Platform services and tools.
- Preferred knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or other modern observability platforms.
