Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and development of scalable, maintainable platform features aligned with AWS best practices.
- Build AI-powered solutions for predictive HR support and automated workflow orchestration.
- Design integrations between multiple HR systems while maintaining data security and compliance.
- Mentor junior and SDE-II engineers and establish coding, design, and engineering standards.
- Lead cross-team technical initiatives, architectural tradeoffs, and consensus-building.
- Write, review, test, and maintain production code and design documents.
- Monitor system health, resolve customer issues, and drive reliability and operational improvements.
- Partner with product, business, HR support, SDM, and PM stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- At least 1 year of experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- The listed base salary ranges are $165,200–$223,600 annually in Santa Clara, California, and $143,700–$194,400 annually in Bellevue, Washington.
