Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Evolve the platform's core authorization service, which is on the critical path of every access-control decision.
- Migrate and consolidate platform-wide permission checking onto a unified authorization model.
- Build fine-grained access controls, including scoped service identities, delegated access, and role-based access control.
- Develop network ingress access policies for customer resources.
- Improve the availability and reliability of a high-throughput, low-latency authorization service.
- Set technical direction for Bellevue engineers and partner with the Mountain View technical lead.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in access management, identity, or authorization systems.
- Strong distributed-systems and security fundamentals.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, ideally across multiple locations.
- Track record of designing and shipping backend services at scale.
