Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate secure, scalable end-to-end identity verification features.
- Develop React and TypeScript components and micro-frontend integrations.
- Build Java and Spring Boot APIs, business logic, and third-party identity verification or vendor integrations.
- Implement authentication, workflow orchestration, retries, failure handling, and secure processing of sensitive identity data.
- Work with GraphQL APIs, event-driven services, MySQL, caching, and Kafka.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including standalone and host-micro-frontend testing.
- Use production observability, including logs, metrics, traces, and alerts, to support reliable services.
- Drive solutions from discovery through production, coordinate cross-team dependencies, and resolve integration or operational issues.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, engineering standards, mentoring, and pragmatic technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot or Dropwizard experience building production APIs and microservices.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based frontend development.
- Experience integrating third-party platforms or vendors; identity verification, fraud, payments, or KYC experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, relational databases, efficient SQL, and automated testing.
- Experience with Git, cloud environments, production incident handling, and modern AI development tools.
- Strong ownership, communication, independent problem-solving, and technical trade-off skills.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, GraphQL, high-volume services, micro-frontend or component-service architecture, Capla, design systems, accessibility, performance tuning, experimentation, or e-commerce and travel domains.
