Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted test plans based on user stories, requirements, and complex business and technical challenges.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable automation scripts.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other squad members to identify and resolve requirements and quality gaps.
- Perform functional and, when appropriate, non-functional testing including performance and security validation.
- Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, stable, consistently green test pipelines.
- Produce traceable automated test execution reports covering test coverage and requirement completeness.
- Report and track software defects according to established workflows.
- Optimise test environments and proactively support high-quality product releases.
- Lead quality improvements, influence testing best practices, and contribute to the FSNI QA Practice.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience delivering test automation design and development in a full-stack environment.
- Strong experience automating web applications, mobile applications, and microservices.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Experience implementing and using automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or Appium.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Practical experience building, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience managing automated testing artefacts with tools such as Jira, Xray, Zephyr, qTest, ADO, or ALM.
- Strong test planning, defect management, communication, collaborative problem-solving, and reporting skills.
