Responsibilities

Validate and test SAS software and multiple SAS9 products on Windows and Unix platforms.
Install, configure, and support test environments, SAS9 infrastructure, and continuous deployment infrastructure.
Automate deployment processes using internal tools, Jenkins, Python, and Shell scripts.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts.
Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, strategies, and test ideas.
Identify risks, issues, and defects throughout the project lifecycle and manage them through closure.
Install and administer PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SAS, or related database management systems.
Administer Linux, Windows, and SAS software.
Debug complex software systems and support multiple projects independently.

2–5 years of experience.
Experience administering Windows and Unix operating systems.
Programming or scripting experience with Java, Shell Script, or Python for deployment automation.
Experience installing and administering PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SAS, or related database management systems.
Knowledge of security concepts and tools such as Snyk and Black Duck.
Knowledge of enterprise security applications including IBM Virtual Identity Access, WebSEAL, SiteMinder, and Integrated Windows Authentication.
Familiarity with FIPS, TLS, certificates, and private key infrastructure.
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and hypervisors.
Experience supporting, installing, and configuring test environments for multiple projects.
Ability to work with large legacy products and debug complex software systems.
Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
Experience designing and implementing test plans, cases, scenarios, and usage models.
