Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and execute software tests against feature acceptance criteria.
  • Create acceptance criteria, test plans, and test strategies for projects and products.
  • Identify quality risks and assess whether implementations align with customer intent.
  • Configure, upgrade, and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
  • Develop and coordinate quality-process induction training and communicate standards and procedures.
  • Perform statistical analysis, report system performance, and provide project-level quality snapshots.
  • Provide technical support during software installation, configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Support QA alignment, training, and delivery at sites in Norway and during international business travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably specializing in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in the field.
  • Experience with software quality assurance within hardware systems, software and system development, and complex functionality testing and verification.
  • Experience with software specification, detailed design, qualification, testing, maintenance, and resolving complex product and system issues.
  • Experience defining products and testing against customer requirements, applicable codes and standards, and company requirements.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, oral, and written English communication skills at B2/C1 level.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies, source control, CI/CD tooling, automated testing tools, QA strategy, and manual testing.
  • Experience using Jira for Agile project management and basic knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP networking.
  • Ability to release project documentation according to international standards and customer requirements.
