Responsibilities
- Own the technical security engineering strategy across Parloa's platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML systems.
- Lead deep threat modeling and architecture reviews for new and existing systems.
- Drive secure-by-design practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Design and improve detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities.
- Guide security architecture for multi-tenant, sensitive data flows.
- Support compliance and governance efforts by ensuring technical controls are sound.
- Mentor senior engineers and security practitioners.
- Act as a trusted technical voice in conversations with enterprise customers.
- Stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape for AI and voice/chat systems.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in security engineering at Staff or Principal level.
- Deep expertise in application security and/or cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management and secure data handling.
- Experience securing systems handling sensitive or regulated data.
- A track record of driving security strategy and influencing engineering culture.
- Excellent communication skills to explain security risks clearly.
- Genuine curiosity about AI systems and emerging security challenges.
