Responsibilities
- Own the technical security engineering strategy across Parloa’s platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML systems.
- Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews, including for LLM-based and voice/chat AI pipelines.
- Drive secure-by-design practices throughout the software development lifecycle in partnership with engineering teams.
- Design and improve detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities across cloud and AI infrastructure.
- Guide security architecture for multi-tenant systems and sensitive enterprise customer data flows.
- Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance by ensuring technical controls are sound and documented.
- Mentor senior engineers and security practitioners and build security capability across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted technical security voice for enterprise customers and partners.
- Track emerging threats to AI and voice/chat systems and develop proactive mitigations.
Requirements
- 15+ years of security engineering experience with demonstrated impact at Staff or Principal level.
- Deep expertise in application security and/or cloud security, threat modeling, and secure architecture for distributed, cloud-native systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS, GCP, or Azure and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, encryption, and secure data handling at enterprise scale.
- Experience securing systems that handle sensitive or regulated data, ideally including GDPR or similar frameworks.
- Track record of driving security strategy and influencing engineering culture across an organization.
- Strong communication skills for explaining security risks and trade-offs to engineers, leadership, and customers.
- Curiosity about AI systems and willingness to address emerging security challenges.
