Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Perform QA and test automation activities, including API testing and Selenium-based automation.
- Set up, configure, and maintain Jenkins jobs for automated test execution, reporting, and pipeline integration.
- Use Jira and Xray for test planning, execution, traceability, and test management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead software quality and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery timelines and team productivity.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate with cross-functional and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of total experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with Playwright is required.
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar QA or test automation role is stated.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Proficiency in Selenium is required.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript programming skills and experience with automated testing tools are required.
- Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, Jira, Xray, Git, and Bitbucket is required or expected.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing capabilities is required.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and defect-identification skills are required.
- Business-level written and spoken English proficiency is required.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
