Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development, product management, and UX teams to define quality requirements.
- Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases from product requirements, user stories, and technical designs.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and suites for frontend, backend, and API testing.
- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end manual testing.
- Investigate automation failures, identify defects, determine root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
- Develop new automated tests and improve automation infrastructure and QA processes.
- Review automation code and provide technical guidance to other QA engineers.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, Agile ceremonies, and release activities.
- Document, report, and track software defects using Jira and other engineering tools.
- Help improve testing methodologies and quality standards across applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of QA experience in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar technologies.
- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of at least one of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- Experience with Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows.
- Ability to create and execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience testing modern web applications for responsiveness, usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
