Base Salary
$98k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions to business problems.
- Collaborate with engineers to build and select effective system solutions.
- Design microservices and address operational issues, production debugging, and risk mitigation.
- Drive projects from estimation and planning through completion and delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team initiatives.
- Partner with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations to deliver business value.
- Plan and scope products iteratively with product managers.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, or documentation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with any programming language.
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages.
- Ability to solve problems in more than one language and select the appropriate language for the task.
- Expertise building software features, enterprise architecture, and API integrations.
- Project management skills, including overseeing projects end-to-end, estimating work, and breaking problems into deliverable parts.
- Experience deploying multiple web applications from a full-stack perspective.
- Experience collaborating with product managers to plan and scope products iteratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience deploying software using Go, Ruby, Rails, React, or PostgreSQL.
- Finance-domain experience is preferred.
- Interest in developing toward people leadership through mentoring, driving initiatives, and shaping priorities.
