Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable, secure, high-performance backend systems.
- Serve as the infrastructure subject matter expert for new products and technology introductions.
- Integrate infrastructure components with product features in collaboration with engineering and research teams.
- Design event-driven architectures and develop APIs and microservices for real-time processing and analytics.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring, logging, and error handling.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to open-source projects, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting in applications and backend software development.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, Django, Flask, OpenAPI, FastAPI, Spring Boot, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
- A master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
