Responsibilities
- Implement pixel-perfect, responsive, semantic, and accessible user interfaces from Figma or similar prototypes.
- Build scalable reusable UI components and maintain a cohesive design system.
- Optimize front-end performance through lazy loading, code splitting, dynamic imports, bundle analysis, and Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Apply suitable rendering and delivery approaches, including SSR, SSG, and ISR where applicable.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility through appropriate polyfills and fallbacks.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs using maintainable JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain automated front-end testing strategies using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Write documentation, participate in code reviews, and uphold front-end architecture and UI quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience specializing in front-end engineering.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
- Deep knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first development, and complex layout techniques.
- Experience with front-end performance optimization, including lazy loading, code splitting, dynamic imports, and bundle analysis.
- Experience with SSR, SSG, and ISR approaches; React and Next.js experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and polyfills.
- Proven experience implementing WCAG accessibility best practices.
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end applications.
- Familiarity with headless CMS and JAMstack concepts.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong Git workflow knowledge and CI/CD experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication.
