Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the OpenFin Platform across frontend and backend components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Lit.
- Collaborate with colleagues to produce high-quality, maintainable code that meets business needs.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code meets established standards.
- Help define the team and portal application’s long-term strategy while improving user experience and reducing time-to-market.
- Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative, proactive team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- More than four years of experience as a Front-End Engineer or Full-Stack Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Node.js or the ability to learn the Node environment quickly.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Lit, Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with testing tools such as Karma, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, and Chai.
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Rollup, or Vite.
- Experience with package managers such as NPM and proficiency with Git and version control systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Web Components, strong Node.js experience, and knowledge of browser Web APIs including WebSockets, Web Workers, and Web Storage APIs are preferred.
