Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance PHP backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Laravel or Symfony.
- Build scalable, reusable frontend components with Vue.js or React and apply state management and frontend performance optimization practices.
- Architect end-to-end server-side and client-side solutions, including scalable microservices architectures.
- Design and optimize data models, indexes, and queries across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and raise team technical capability.
- Drive architectural improvements, reduce technical debt, and lead technical decisions across the codebase.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, client engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement caching, logging, monitoring, debugging, performance tuning, and security best practices, including OWASP Top 10 compliance.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of fullstack development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel or Symfony on the backend and Vue.js or React on the frontend.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including modern ES6+ patterns and component-based architecture.
- Professional English proficiency for technical discussions, documentation, and direct communication with international clients.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, query optimization, and data modeling across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs and working with microservices architecture.
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows.
- Strong fullstack debugging, performance-tuning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions, drive architectural discussions, and develop other engineers.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with Shopware, Shopify, or Magento is preferred.
- Knowledge of Nuxt.js or Next.js for server-side rendering or static site generation is preferred.
- Experience with PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright is preferred.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka is preferred.
